Carrie Gauden
Carrie's practice is about understanding and treating the source. She uses her exclusive "RADS" (Release, Activate & Develop Strength) method using a combination of the equipment and systems in her repertoire to ensure elimination of the symptoms and prolonged good health. Carrie's methods utilized her many certified credentials ranging from Massage/Neuromuscular Therapy, TPI Fitness Level 2 ( Titleist Professional Instructor) STOTT Pilates Full Level 2, Total Barre and Injury & Special Populations and an educated in multiple Fascial Technique modalities. She also specializes in Pilates for Golf, Surf, Athletic Conditioning and Post Rehab. Combining these she has created unique methods of treating Plantar Fasciitis, Piriformis Syndrome, Frozen Shoulder an many others.
As an ultra runner from Boulder, CO competing in the "Leadville 100" at altitude finishing at 29:22:31 (non-stop) running and life long athlete, she has developed an understanding of the body mechanics, both physically and mentally. This has led to how she treats the problems affecting those mechanics and psychological effect of the injury and healing. When she is not teaching classes, working with individual clients one on one, taking courses somewhere in the world to constantly furthering her education you will find her with her dog Chrome, surfing or finding a new trail to run.

Jessica's background is as impressive as it is inspiring. Her dance experiences alongside Beyoncé and performing with a professional contemporary company instilled in her a deep understanding of disciplined movement. Certifications in Yoga Sculpt, Mat Classical Pilates, and two prestigious 500-hour comprehensive Pilates certifications, including Advanced Therapeutic Pilates, showcase Jessica's unwavering commitment to excellence in movement therapy.
College ignited a passion within Jessica. Exploring the profound connection between dance, fitness, and wellness, she discovered movement as a powerful tool for healing and liberation. Pilates became her sanctuary, offering relief from the rigors of dance-induced pain. Now, with her certifications, she empowers others to embark on their own transformative healing journeys.

Ena Kirima
Ena Kirima is a certified Pilates instructor and faculty member for Body Arts and Science International (BASI). Having studied under Rael Isacowitz, the founder of BASI, Ena has had the privilege of assisting him at various conferences, including in Tokyo, and at BASI's Newport Beach headquarters. She has completed extensive training in specialized areas such as injuries/pathologies, working with dancers, and enhancing athletic performance. Ena is proud to have completed all courses in the BASI Legacy Program and to be a part of the BASI family.
In 2015, Ena moved to Tokyo, where she taught full-time at BASI Japan for two years, immersing herself in both the culture and the language. She continues to travel back and forth between California and Japan to teach BASI teacher training courses and classes. Ena has also taught in South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and China.
Born a twin in Osaka, Japan, Ena has trained in dance for 17 years and Pilates for 11. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. With a positive, energetic, and down-to-earth personality, Ena is known as the "repetition queen," pushing her clients to challenge themselves while having fun in the process. She is also a 200- hour certified yoga instructor through Yoga and the Healing Science, and on her days off, you’ll often find her out on the golf course. Ena believes that a healthy life is all about balance, a big smile, and having fun along the way—and Pilates is the perfect place to make it all happen!
Shannon Gilbert
Shannon Gilbert is a seasoned educator with two decades of teaching experience in the dance industry. She is certified in Advanced Therapeutic Pilates as well as holding a certification in injury prevention and conditioning for athletic artists.
With a passion for movement she went to Cal State Long Beach pursuing a degree in kinesiology with a minor in dance. Soon after she signed with Bloc Dance Agency, and went straight into commercial and company work.
Shannon then discovered her love for teaching and choreography for studios and dance teams. She went on to train and choreograph competitive dancers along with choreographing and dancing on two major arena tours.
Through her own journey of personal injuries and years of chronic pain, Shannon has built a wealth of knowledge and understanding of functional movement and how the body can adapt and thrive. By utilizing her certifications in Therapeutic Pilates as well as injury prevention and conditioning, Shannon’s passion is to help her clients finally get to the root of their pain, and create a path to wellness.
Jaqueline Barreto Lenhard
Jaque has been passionate about movement ever since she was a little girl. Growing up as a dancer, falling in love with Pilates came naturally. Jaque began her journey with BASI Pilates in 2014 and she has completed the Legacy Program in 2021.
She has worked closely with Rael Isacowitz, BASI founder, and is honored to be Faculty for their education program. Jaque has taught teacher training programs throughout the United States and Canada, and she also led the first online mat program for basi Brasil.
She holds a certificate for Pilates through pregnancy, as well as numerous workshops and conferences throughout the world.
